Execution
The dump of GIN is restored from the tape given in the magnetic tape description parameter, an exofile is opened as the program file (*DA0) and a scratch exofile is opened as the workfile (*DA1). A check is made to ensure that each of the files specified using the *CR parameter exists. The restore pack control cards are then read by GIN from the files specified in the restore pack parameters and the restore proceeds as usual. Any listing is routed to the file specified in the output listing option parameters, or to a listed workfile if no file description is given, or to the monitoring file if the parameter is omitted. If a named output file becomes full the macro directs the remaining listing to a series of listed workfiles.
It should be noted that if the null option is used in the restore pack parameters, it should be used only for the last such parameter and then refer to the job source itself. Further, the restore pack files are read in the order they are specified in the macro.
