Execution

A job is run under the user :OPERATORS, using :MACROS.LXJDF as a job description file.

If format 1 is used, the job loads and enters :DUMPER.PROGRAM G3DR (the program used by the macro LISTDUMP). The program lists a table showing the position, octal value and meaning for each bit in both the status (state of the increment) and magstate (state of the magnetic tape) words. It also produces a listing of :SYSTEM.INCINDEX giving, for each increment, the status, date, time, size (in 512 word blocks) and number of files, followed by pairs of words for each tape that the increment is on; the first word of the pair is the tape serial number and the second is the magstate for that tape.

If format 2 is used, the job loads and enters a program embedded in the macro. This facility produces a listing of any operator or user wronged tapes in :SYSTEM.INCINDEX.

Error Messages

No error messages are generated by the job itself.
