RIGHT (RI)

Function

Makes a peripheral available for use by GEORGE.

Format

RIGHT peripheral description1,peripheral description2,...peripheral descriptionn,

where the parameters specify the local or remote peripherals to be made unavailable.

Execution

If this command is issued from a remote console, it may be used only to RIGHT a peripheral in its own cluster. If it is issued from the central console, it may be used to RIGHT any central or remote peripheral.

Provided that the command can be issued from the issuing console and that the peripheral exists, the message
    UNIT peripheral description RIGHTED
is output on the operator's console from which the command was issued. GEORGE will mark the peripheral 'RIGHT' irrespective of whether it was previously marked 'WRONG' (see the WRONG command).
