SPEAK (SK)

Function

Causes a message to be sent to a specified operator's console or consoles.

Format

1. SPEAK ,text
2. SPEAK console property name,text
3. SPEAK ,text,B

Forbidden contexts

NOT OPERATOR

Format 1 may not be issued from the central operator's console.
Format 2 may be issued from any operator's console.
Format 3 may only be issued from the central operator's console.

Execution

The message is sent to the appropriate console or consoles, as defined below, and is also output on the console which issues the command.
