Execution

If no parameter is given, a line of information is output on the operator's console for each file being listed or waiting to be listed. If a peripheral is specified, information is provided about each file waiting to be output on that device, or currently being output on that device. If a jobname and username are specified, a line of information is output for each file for which that job has initiated a LISTFILE (unless the LISTFILE has been completed).

The format of the output is:

    username.jobname  peripheral type  filename

followed by a list of the PROPERTIES required for the listing of this file.

If the command is issued from the central console, any LISTFILEs relevant to remote peripherals will have the letter R output with the peripheral type. If issued from a cluster console, only LISTFILEs destined for the cluster are listed (in this case the letter R is not output in the peripheral type).
