BUDGET (BT)

Function

Alters the privileged status of an inferior of the proper user, or increases a budget ration of his immediate superior or of an immediate inferior, or reduces a budget ration of an immediate inferior.

Notes

  1. The BUDGET command acts only on rations, not on allowances. This means that the amount of time or money available to a user during the current period is not affected by the BUDGET command. To change this amount the user must give an ALLOWANCE command.
  2. A user may hold budget rations and allowances in excess of his money budget.
  3. The user :MANAGER is permitted to access the budgets of his siblings as if they were his immediate inferiors. Thus, he may enquire alter the privileged status and budget rations of the user :SYSTEM.
