CANCEL (CC)

Function

Cancels a previously issued ALLOCATE, ASSOCIATE, ATTACH, ATTRIBUTE, CONCEPTUAL, ENTRUST, FINISH, PROPERTY or RETRIEVE command.

Format

CANCEL command name command parameters

The command name can be one of those listed in Function above, or it's equivalent two letter code and the command parameters, if any, associated with the command being cancelled. There must be at least one space between command name and command parameters; if there is more than one parameter, the parameters must be seperated by commas.

As for the command being cancelled.

Execution

The effect of the command will depend on the command being cancelled. Full details are given under the specification of the appropriate command.

Error Messages

The following messages may be given for errors occuring in any of the versions of the CANCEL command; for error messages which only occur with one version see the error message section of the CANCEL section of the appropriate command.
